Engr. Ibrahim holds Bachelors of Engineering, Chemical Engineering (2004) from the Federal University of Technology Yola, Adamawa State; And Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (2013). He is a registered member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE); Registered Engineer with council for the regulation of Engineering in Nigeria(COREN).

His work experience includes serving as an officer with the National Workshop for Assistance and Protection against Chemical Weapons (2016). He has also worked with Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) Biu, Pump Station, Borno State; Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals Company Limited, Eleme Rivers State, where he rose through the ranks as Field Engineer, Distillation Panel Operator, Finishing Panel Operator, Reaction Panel Operator to be Shift Engineer.

His duties and experiences includes handling plant activities on digital control system (DCS 3000) Distillation / Finishing / Reaction panel for production of butene and various grades of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high density polyethylene (HDPE); Quality control of products during shift for butene and various grades of LLDPE/HDPE. Monitoring of plant parameters (level, temperatures, pressure, flow rate) and take up corrective measure in case of deviations. Ensuring that all plant operational activities, startups, shutdowns are carried out safely as per standard operations procedure. Maintaining good communication with Engineers in regards to observation and concern.
